Molly is a cute little Kitty, inspired by the company’s philosophy of warmth and happiness, with our underlined love for the flow arts and music festivals. She was designed after one of the owners Siamese cats, which suffered from separation anxiety, and would always cry when left alone, and would be incredibly sweet and playful otherwise.
Molly’s faithful adventure
On a bright summers day traveled a hopeful young lady and her very enthusiastic kitten. The girls name was Emily. She was a very bright girl and aspired to be an entrepreneur. Having recently graduated from culinary school she was on her way to a music festival, where she hoped to put her education to the test. She had been plotting and planning her first business trip for months. She had carefully selected all of the ingredients she would need, hand written menus and had even painted her own banners. She put her whole heart into her dreams, Her family and friends knew she was going to be a huge success. Not only did she have that inspiration going for her, but she specialized in health foods, and bringing them to the music scene, where she just knew they would be a big hit. She also had another giant inspiration, which was ridding along side of her in the van, her kitty named Molly.
Molly was a very active Siamese kitten, who absolutely loved her mother and would panic any time her mother Emily was away. Emily had a touch of anxiety herself, so she completely understood the kitten, and this only fueled their closeness. On the way to the show, Emily talked to Molly about how she was going to be the next big chef and change the culinary world certain that everyone would love her health foods. Molly didn’t really know what her mother was saying, but she could tell her mother was happy, and that was enough for Molly. After hours of traveling, they finally made it to their first music festival, and Emily couldn’t have been more excited.
Immediately after entering the gates, Emily went to set up her booth and begin cooking. Molly, being full of anxiety, stayed hip by hip with her, but was in awe of all the lights and beautiful costumes she saw along the way. After a few hours of hard work, Emily’s Health Foods was finally up and running. Emily told Molly,”whatever you do, you can’t sit up on the counter where people can see you because they may not buy our food, you must stay down on the floor.” Molly was sad, but agreed, because she knew her mother’s dreams were the most important thing in the world, and Molly was going to do whatever it took to help her.
Several hours had passed, and not one soul came to their booth. It seemed as though every hippy, raver and music goer was only interested in greasy pizza and burgers. Finally Emily got her first customers, two beautiful blonde raver girls. The two girls looked the menu over twice, glaring judgmentally at Emily. They finally said,”um, do you actually have anything edible here, because I’m not standing in line at the pizza place again?” Emily nodded, and assured them that they would adore one of her vegan wraps. She began to make the wraps for her new customers, and Molly noticed them taking snacks, drinks and goods off the counter and putting them into their bags. The kitty jumped on the counter and said,”GIVE THAT BACK, THAT’S MY MOMS, NOT YOURS!” Unfortunately though, her saying that was only interpreted as a loud series of hissing. The two girls were taken back and said,”eew, I can’t believe she’s keeping animals back there, what is this a barn? Come on, we’re out of here!” The two girls walked off, with the extra snacks still in their bags. Emily sighed and said,”oh Molly, those were our only customers of the night, and now they’re gone.” Molly began to tear up and ran off into the crowd, she just couldn’t stand to think she ruined her mother’s dreams.
After a few minutes had passed, Molly began to finally calm down and stopped running, but now she was completely lost. She marveled at her surroundings, she had never seen so many humans before, ever. She began to quickly weave through the crowd, calling for her mom, but only became more lost. She saw humans dressed all sorts of ways. Some humans dressed in costumes and others pranced around wearing whatever they wanted. Molly made her way through the crowds and watched the silly humans dancing, singing and playing. Finally, after working her way to the very back of the crowd, something magnificent lit up her little kitten eyes. Fire pits!
Molly watched as fire wielding humans twirled flames across their bodies. Molly was both scared and fascinated watching the performers control fire with ease. Some of them twirled it on sticks, some of them had it on fans, but Molly especially loved the fire on the hula hoop. Molly sat watching them for hours, hypnotized by the fire spinners. Her eyes were filled up with a fiery glaze, as the reflection of flames danced in her eyes. Hours slipped by. Then a young woman stepped in front of Molly, with two small hoops, and was juggling them and spinning them with her hands. After spinning the hoops for a few minutes, one of them dropped and rolled towards Molly. Molly looked at hula hoop and sniffed it. She was a tad bit hesitant to touch it, but the young fire dancer said,”it’s okay kitty, it won’t hurt you.” Molly picked up the hoop and thought to herself about how her mom would hoop for hours and decided to give it a try. She put the tiny hula hoop on her body and began hooping, and everything around her immediately stopped.
All of the Flow Artists, dancers and other spectators stopped and stood amazed at this hula hooping kitten. Molly had her eyes closed though and kept hooping along until the song ended, blissfully unaware of the crowd she had drawn. Once the song stopped, Molly opened her eyes as everyone began to cheer for her. Molly’s anxiety began to rise, and as she turned to run, she heard “Molly!” In a voice she recognized. “Mother!” she cried, Molly immediately dashed to her mother and leaped into her arms. The Flow Artist walked to Molly and Emily and asked Emily,”is this your kitty?” Emily nodded and they asked if they could continue to do flow arts with the kitty. Emily said,”yes, but unfortunately I need to be able to watch her,” fearing Molly’s anxiety might act up again. After a few minutes of discussing the logistics, the fire pit and all of the pits dancers and performers were moved right beside Emily’s restaurant which fast became the most popular place to eat. All the performers were now buying food from her as well as all of their spectators. They all agreed it was the best food at the festival and Molly was full of joy. Not only did the flow arts help her anxiety, but people lined up to watch the amazing kitty hula hoop, and she knew that she was helping her mother live her dreams and even though she was just a tiny kitten, she had a huge role to play with it.
